Shipping And Delivery

How Our Calf Shipping and Delivery Works

Sending a calf to a new home may sound daunting, but in reality, it’s often more stressful for us than for the calves themselves. With years of experience in safely delivering calves to our clients, we can assure you that every calf is well cared for throughout the process. Airlines and shipping companies take the safety of animals very seriously, as mistreatment could lead to lawsuits and customer dissatisfaction.

Most flights for our calves last between 6 and 8 hours. We track every detail, including departures, layovers, and potential delays, so we always know the exact location of your calf and can provide you with timely updates. Typically, calves arrive the same day they are shipped, often within just a few hours.

We consider shipping only when necessary, usually because we’ve found the perfect home for a calf that isn’t within driving distance. Many clients ask, “Is it safe to fly a calf?” Rest assured, it absolutely is.

When we first started shipping calves, we personally asked the shipping company about safety. Their response:

“All calves are booked on safe, approved airlines with pet-safe programs that comply with USDA guidelines. Each calf is cared for on board by trained personnel, similar to how a pilot is attended to during a flight.”

We carefully select the most direct flights, much like choosing a flight for yourself, to ensure minimal stress. In fact, shipping a calf by air is often more comfortable than a long road trip of 8 hours or more. Our calves have consistently arrived safe and healthy in their new homes.

We ship across the USA, Canada, and even internationally, always prioritizing the comfort and safety of your calf.

We look forward to helping you welcome your new calf into your family and building a lasting, positive relationship with both you and your calf.
